Meet Attorney Myekeal D. Wynn
Myekeal D. Wynn is the founding attorney of Wynn Law, a litigation-focused law firm serving Indianapolis and Central Indiana. His practice concentrates on criminal defense, Section 1983 civil rights litigation, personal injury, family law, employment law, and business services, unified by a single principle: disciplined, aggressive advocacy grounded in real courtroom experience.
Myekeal earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and began his legal career as a civil litigation associate at the world’s largest law firm. There, he was trained in high-stakes litigation management, negotiation tactics, and oral and written advocacy. Myekeal’s experience continues to inform his strategic approach to every case.
He later served as Assistant General Counsel at a Big Ten university, where he managed a diverse litigation portfolio involving employment disputes, civil rights claims, agency complaints, and institutional risk matters. That in-house experience provides Wynn Law clients with counsel shaped by an understanding of how sophisticated institutions assess and defend litigation.
Outside of practice, Mr. Wynn enjoys spending time with his wife, Esperanza, and son, Elias. He is an avid video gamer and enjoys playing euchre and guitar.

In criminal defense matters, Myekeal brings a constitutional litigator’s mindset to every stage of representation. He has served as a Compassionate Release Advocate with the Federal Community Defenders and as a contract attorney with the Marion County Public Defender Agency, representing individuals at critical moments where liberty and constitutional rights are at stake and often overlap. His criminal defense and Section 1983 practices are intentionally intertwined, allowing him to challenge unlawful searches, false arrests, excessive force, and systemic misconduct with precision and purpose.
Mr. Wynn is also an experienced appellate advocate. In Sanders v. Sanders, Memorandum Decision 21A-DN-2760 (Ind. Ct. App. Aug. 16, 2022), he successfully represented a family law client before the Indiana Court of Appeals, demonstrating his ability to carry complex matters through appeal when trial courts err.
His personal injury practice is informed by years of insurance defense and premises liability litigation, giving him firsthand insight into how insurers evaluate, defend, and undervalue claims. He now uses that knowledge to pursue full accountability for injured clients.

Mr. Wynn founded Wynn Law after personally experiencing police violence while asserting another individual’s constitutional rights. That experience solidified his commitment to building a firm known for trial readiness, constitutional enforcement, and uncompromising advocacy on behalf of clients whose rights, freedom, or livelihood are on the line.
